Here are some of my areas of expertise with articles and blog posts I've written that demonstrate my knowledge of those subjects.
Social Media and Marketing
Not only do I have experience managing social media accounts, I also know a lot about social media strategy. Below are articles that showcase some of my thoughts and findings on how businesses and individuals can best utilize social media.
Personal Development
I have a lot of practice writing about how people can improve their lives in general, with both strategies I've applied to my own life and ones I've deduced for others.
Technology
I'm a big tech nerd, and love the chance to write about many forms of technology, including many kinds of hardware and software.
Mental Health/Learning Differences
As the writer of the blog for Minnesota Life College, a school for young adults with learning differences, I know a lot about the struggles of mental health and how to best combat them.
Productivity
I consider myself a bit of a productivity guru. I always look for ways to improve my workflow, whether it be through new technology or reinvigorating age-old techniques, and enjoy sharing what I've learned.
Entertainment Industry
I'm an avid follower of the entertainment industry, whether that means the business of TV, movies, comics, novels, or what have you. I very much hope to write many more thoughtful pieces about the field over the course of my career.
Writing/Storytelling
As I've described elsewhere on this site, I'm a storyteller at heart. I've written quite a bit about the craft of telling a story in mediums ranging from prose to comics to TV to film. But I'm also pragmatic, with a lot of knowledge about how to do what I do: make a living as a freelance writer.
Crowdfunding
I'm a close follower of crowdfunding on platforms like Kickstarter and Patreon, and have researched and written quite a bit on the subject. I even ran a Kickstarter campaign for musician Luke Spehar which raised over $17,000.
